I can’t decide what makes these campaign images so satisfying, it could be...

...the strong black and white historical photographs
...the instantly recognisable pop luminous yellow
...the way the product is demonstrating is use. By highlighting the important information to take from the image.
...the recognition of unsung heroes, in this case, all women, obscured in a wholly male-dominated situation.

Whatever it is, these images are clean, intelligent and super cool!

The women highlighted in each photograph are...

Katherine Johnson (1918-Present) An African-American NASA mathematician responsible for calculating trajectories, launch windows and emergency return paths for NASA spaceflights. Most notably, Neil Armstrong’ s Apollo 11 mission.

Lise Meitner (1878–1968) An Austrian-Swedish physicist, Meitner and her long time collaborator Otto Hahn, first discovered nuclear fission of Uranium. But was subsequently ignored. When the 1944 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for nuclear fission was awarded exclusively Hahn.

Edith Wilson (1872–1961) The First Lady and wife of Woodrow Wilson. After President Wilson suffered a severe stroke in 1919, Edith took responsibility to vet all matters for the bed-ridden President. Only allowing items deemed essential for his attention. In doing so became ultimately responsible for running the executive branch of the US government.
